 Wieliczka an underground salt Kingom

Just a few steps away from Krakow you can find the Wieliczka Salt Mine complete with charming underground passages that have been cut in salt rock over seven centuries. This place is considered one of the existing wonders of the word. It was not by accident that it found its place in the UNESCO List of World Heritage; it is actually a complete underground city made of salt.
It would be very difficult to find another place like this anywhere else in the world. The route runs along old drifts, into labyrinths of corridors through huge chambers, over underground lakes, and even through a ballroom, which is exceptional.

It is possible to visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine all year round.
