We will take you to the otherside of the Tatra Mountains, to neighbouring country- Slovakia. Admire the highest parts of polish and slovakian mountains. A modern cable car will bring you to the top called Lomnicky Stit (2634 m)- the second highest peak in the Tatras and whole Carpathians! Visit the biggest cave in Tatras with tousends of variuos karst forms inside.
First you will be picked-up from your accommodation about 7 in the morning. The journey from Krakow to Slovakia takes about 3 hours. While traveling you will see polish and slovakian mountainside and typical highlander’s architecture. We stop in a little town called Tatranská Lomnica. A hanging cable car will take us to the second highest peak of the Tatras- Lomnicky Stit (2, 634 m). Enjoy majestic summits at your fingertips! Please be prepared for a sagnificant temperature differences. Take warm clothes with you!
After we go down, we’ll vist the Belianska Cave – the biggest cave in High Tatras! An unforgetable, underground walk of about 70 minutes. The nature created in the rocks charming chambers, lakes and tausends of karst forms. There is about 800 stairs, so you will need comfortable walking shoes. The temperature in the cave ranges from 5 to 6°C, and the humidity of the air is around 90 – 97%.
During the day we will do a break to taste some slovakian food.
The whole journey is about 12 hours and the distance from Cracow is 140 KM in one direction.
Please be aware, that taking the hanging cable car may be uncomfortable for persons with fear of hights.
The Bielanska Cave is open all year except from mid-November to the end of December.
